History

Originally from the mid western areas of belgium a large square bird resembling the Dorking with a prominent breast. Mainly kept as Gold or silver with pencilling broader and coarser than the Campine and less well marked.

Available in Europe as Black, White, Blue, Chamois and Black Headed.

The short legged version is called the Brakel Courtes Pattes.
