Its simple – Layers Pellets are designed for animals that lay eggs. Layers pellets can be fed to chickens, ducks, quail most poultry infact. They are fed this usually 2 weeks before they lay their first egg. This way they have time to absorb all the vitamins and nutrients they require to lay that first egg. Its a big undertaking! Then they are fed this for the remainder of their laying lives.
